The
Bible mentions the "heart" (Hebrew = lebab/leb [b'bel]
and Greek = kardia [kardiva])
over one thousand times, making it the most common anthropological term in
Scripture. And it is not usually talking about the blood-pumping organ we have
in the center of our chest.
