SPECIAL POST - Invitation to a Training Seminar

LISTENING & INNER-HEALING PRAYER SEMINAR – October 5-6, 2012

I would like to invite you to attend a Listening & Inner-Healing Prayer Seminar on October 5-6 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at The Navigators’ U.S. Headquarters Building (3820-A North 30th Street). This will be hosted by the team I work with: The Navigators’ People Resources Team (PRT).

The gospel of Luke tells us that Jesus read from the scroll of Isaiah 61 to begin His ministry on earth:

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”

A big part of the Messiah’s mission is to bring healing to the broken places in our hearts and set us free in areas where we’re captive.

Do you have places of brokenness in your heart or areas of life where you sense you aren’t fully free? Or would you like to help friends and loved ones who struggle with this?

If so, the People Resources Team invites you to attend this seminar. With God’s empowering, the workshop will help you to:

·    Sharpen your ear to hear more clearly what God seeks to communicate to you (based on Mark 4:22-24; John 10:27 and 16:12-14; Hebrews 3:7-8).
·    Discern hidden lies you’ve come to believe and break free from them. (John 8:32 explains that God’s written and living word is the Truth that can set us free. This implies that believing lies is a key source of bondage.)
·    Uncover and demolish your faulty strategies. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 talks of weaponry God has given us to bring every thought captive to Christ.)
·    Discover your emotional hurts and wounds so God can heal, bind, and transform them (based on Psalm 109:22 and 147:3, Romans 12:1-2).

The seminar includes teaching sessions, music, worship, time alone with God to experience inner healing, opportunities to share your life and experiences, and introductory training in how to facilitate this ministry with others. Friday’s schedule goes from 1 to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Seminar presenters include Ian McIntosh, David Brown, Cynthia Hagen, and Rusty Rustenbach.

The workshop costs $50 per person, $95 for a couple ($30 for alumni). This covers workshop materials, coffee breaks, Saturday morning coffee, fruit, and pastries, and Saturday lunch. You will be responsible for housing, transportation, and other meals.

For more information or to register, please email Diane.

I sincerely hope you can join us,
Rusty
