Lord Jesus. Right now I’m feeling so extremely desperate. At times, my struggle here on the planet seems so overwhelming. The world is continually trying to squeeze me into its mold. Unexpected things happen to me. Trials. Temptations. Feeling misunderstood and mistreated. Bad things happening to good people. Lately, I feel like I’ve been thrown in a pit full of water that’s about to rise over my head … and I don’t know what to do.

And so, in my desperation, I call out to You. I have nowhere else to turn. Be pleased to come and rescue me. “Return, O Lord, rescue my soul; save me because of Your lovingkindness.” Psalm 6:4
