The People Resources Team (PRT) of The Navigators will be presenting a
Listening and Inner Healing Prayer Seminar on May 19 and 20 hosted by the
Woodmen Valley Chapel. Please pass this on to anyone you think might be
interested.
The gospel of Luke tells us of how Jesus read from the
scroll of Isaiah 61 in beginning His ministry on earth:
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”
A big part of the mission of the Messiah is to bring healing to the broken places in our hearts and to set us free in areas where we're
being held captive.
Do you have places of brokenness in your heart or areas of
life where you don’t sense you are fully free? Or would you like to be able to
help friends and loved ones who struggle in these areas?
The seminar provides a framework of teaching, time alone
with God, training in how to facilitate this ministry with others, and
opportunities to share your life and experiences with others. The teaching is
multifaceted and includes music, film clips, worship, and opportunities to get
your questions answered.
